Photographing an old print
- Take it out of the album sleeve or frame if you can.
- Lay it flat near a window and turn off your flash.
- Hold your phone straight above it so the edges look square.
- Fill the screen with the photo and tap to focus.
If your photo isn't usable, we'll email you before doing anything.

How much does photo restoration cost?
Nothing extra. Restoration is included free with every acrylic print. You only pay for the print size you choose, starting at $62, with free US shipping.
Do I need to mail you my original photo?
No. Your original never leaves your home. Just take a clear photo of it with your phone, or scan it, and upload it.
What if I don't like the restored version?
Reply to the proof email and tell us what to change, like "her hair was darker" or "keep it black and white." Nothing is printed until you approve it.
How long does photo restoration take?
We email your proof after you order. Once you approve it, your print usually arrives in 3–7 business days. Have a gift deadline? Contact us before ordering.
Can you colorize a black-and-white photo?
Yes. Choose "Add natural color" when you order, or keep the original black and white. Either way you approve the result before we print.
Can you add names or a date?
Yes. Add names, a date, or a short message when ordering. We’ll show the lettering on your restored photo in the proof we email after checkout.
Is my photo kept private?
Yes. We only use your photo to restore and print your order. We never share it or use it in our marketing without your permission.
