What is a PrismScript portrait?
Your photograph and optional lettering are printed flat on 3/16-inch clear acrylic. It is a personalized photo panel, rather than raised lettering, a framed paper print, or a light-up display.
Which sizes can I order?
Both Custom Acrylic Print and Restored Photo on Acrylic come in the same 15 sizes (width × height): landscape 12 × 8, 20 × 16, 36 × 24, 48 × 36, and 60 × 40 inches; portrait 8 × 12, 16 × 20, 24 × 36, 36 × 48, and 40 × 60 inches; and square 12 × 12, 16 × 16, 20 × 20, 30 × 30, and 40 × 40 inches. Every product page has a “See it to scale” preview that shows the size you pick over a sofa, next to a person. Need something else? Tap Custom size on either product page to request a quote.
Do you make business signs, art prints, or pet portraits?
Yes. Each has its own page with the same sizes and prices: custom acrylic business signs for logos and reception walls, acrylic art prints for paintings, illustrations, and photography, custom pet portraits for dogs and cats, and acrylic photo plaques with a longer inscription. Family, wedding, and memorial photos go on the family portrait page.

Is acrylic better than canvas or metal for photos?
Acrylic gives the sharpest detail, the most saturated color, and the deepest blacks, and it handles humid rooms well. Canvas is cheaper and glare-free but softer; metal is the most durable but can look cool on skin tones. See the full acrylic vs canvas vs metal comparison.
How do I hang and clean an acrylic print?
Prints ordered with standoffs come pre-drilled: mark the holes with a template, drill, anchor, screw in the bases, and thread on the caps finger-tight (see how to hang an acrylic print). Clean with a microfiber cloth and plain water only; never glass cleaner, alcohol, or paper towels (see how to clean an acrylic print).
How much does it cost?
Base prices are $62 for 12 × 8 or 8 × 12, $76 for 12 × 12, $109 for 16 × 16, $125 for 20 × 16 or 16 × 20, $145 for 20 × 20, $247 for 36 × 24 or 24 × 36, $265 for 30 × 30, $479 for 40 × 40, $558 for 48 × 36 or 36 × 48, and $749 for 60 × 40 or 40 × 60 inches. The same prices apply to family portraits, pet portraits, business signs, art prints, and Restored Photo on Acrylic. Optional hardware and rounded corners cost extra. Your selected price appears on the product page; U.S. shipping is free, and applicable taxes appear at checkout.
Can I use a couple, pet, wedding, or memorial photo?
Yes. You can use your own photo for a family portrait, couple’s keepsake, pet portrait, wedding gift, or memorial. Choose an image you have permission to print and check that the subject fits your selected shape and crop.
Can I leave off the family name and all lettering?
Yes. Every wording field is optional. Leave the title, phrase, and names/message fields blank for a photo-only portrait. Example text in an empty field is a suggestion, not part of your design.
What can I customize?
For Custom Acrylic Print, upload your image and adjust its zoom and position. Add optional lettering, choose fonts, text sizes, color, and placement, then approve your preview. For Restored Photo on Acrylic, upload the original photo, select the dimensions and finishes, and add your restoration or lettering requests; review the restored design in the proof we email after ordering.
Can I see my design before paying?
For Custom Acrylic Print, approve your crop, layout, and lettering in View full-size preview before adding to cart. If you request optional photo enhancement, we enhance your photo for you before printing—no approval step needed. For Restored Photo on Acrylic, place your order first; we then email your restored photo, crop, and lettering for approval. You can request changes before approving. Custom Acrylic Print orders, with or without enhancement, use the website-approved layout and do not include a separate emailed proof.

Which photo formats work?
Upload JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF using Choose file or drag and drop on a computer. HEIC/HEIF files up to 20 MB are converted automatically. If conversion fails, export your photo as a JPG or contact us for help. Use the original photo instead of a screenshot or compressed social-media copy.
Can I use a vertical photo?
Yes. Choose Portrait when you pick your size, and the live preview shows exactly how your vertical photo fills the print. Both Custom Acrylic Print and Restored Photo on Acrylic offer portrait, landscape, and square sizes. Ask us for help if you are unsure.
Can I request a custom size?
Yes. On either product page, tap Custom size below the size options, enter the width and height you want, and we’ll email you a price within 24 hours. You can also email hello@prismscript.shop.
How do I know if my photo is sharp enough?
Use the highest-resolution original available and inspect it at full size. Larger prints and heavier cropping require more detail. Enlarging a blurry or small file does not restore detail, and a preview that looks good on a small screen is not a print-quality guarantee. See our Photo Guide or ask us before ordering.
What does Improve text contrast do?
It adds soft shading that fades above and below the lettering to help words stand out. It is optional. When enabled, this shading is part of the printed artwork, so check it in the final preview.
Are mounting standoffs included?
The base price includes no mounting hardware. Silver standoffs add $15 and black standoffs add $20. Sizes with a 48-inch side (48 × 36 and 36 × 48) use six standoffs; other sizes use four. Choose your finish on the product page.
What if I choose no mounting hardware?
You will need to arrange a suitable mounting method for your acrylic panel and wall surface. Do not assume ordinary picture hooks or adhesive strips are suitable. If you are unsure which option to choose, contact us before ordering.
Can I choose rounded corners?
Yes. Square corners are included in the base price, or choose the 1-inch rounded-corner option for an additional $10. The preview reflects your selection.
Are the standoffs printed onto the photo?
No. Standoffs and the illustrated corner effects show the selected physical finish. They are not printed into the artwork file. Your hardware and corner selections are recorded separately with your order.
Will the printed colors look exactly like my screen?
Screen brightness and color settings, lighting, and the acrylic surface can affect appearance. Use the final preview to check the photo crop, wording, and layout; screen colors and simulated reflections are not an exact physical color match.
Why can’t I add my portrait to the cart?
For Custom Acrylic Print, upload a supported image, open View full-size preview, and approve the design. Approve again after any design change. For Restored Photo on Acrylic, upload your photo and select your options; proof approval happens by email after ordering. If an upload fails, try a JPG or PNG original and contact us with the error message.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available.
Where do you ship, and when will it arrive?
U.S. shipping is free. For standard prints without enhancement, estimated arrival is 3–7 business days after ordering. For restoration orders, estimated arrival is 3–7 business days after you approve your emailed proof. Enhancement may add time to standard orders. Estimates include production and transit, exclude weekends and holidays, and are not guaranteed dates. Contact us before ordering for a specific deadline. See our shipping policy.
How do I track my order?
We email tracking information when your order ships. Use the View your order link in your confirmation email to check the order details.
Can I change or cancel an order after checkout?
Contact us immediately with your order number and requested change. Standard layouts are approved before checkout; restoration orders require email approval before printing. Restoration customers can request changes to their emailed proof before approving. Changes or cancellations after approval are not guaranteed. See our refund policy.
What if my portrait arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your portrait arrives damaged during shipping, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery. Once verified, we will arrange a free replacement or refund. Photos are required: include clear images of the damage, the full product, and the shipping packaging, along with your order number. Keep the packaging until your claim is resolved. Contact us through our Contact page to begin. You do not need to return the damaged item unless we request it. If a return is required, we provide a prepaid shipping label. For manufacturing defects or incorrect items, contact us promptly. See our refund policy.

Free photo enhancement for blurry or older photos
Have a favorite photo that looks a little blurry or soft? Photo enhancement is available at no extra charge with your acrylic portrait order. We improve clarity where possible while aiming for a natural look. Results depend on the original photo quality; not every image can be restored.
