Newborn photos that print well

Hospital photos and the first photos at home are often taken in low light, so they can look soft or grainy on a phone screen. That is normal, and it is exactly what the free photo enhancement is for: we sharpen and clean up the image before printing. For the sharpest result at larger sizes, use a photo taken near a window in daylight, and send the original file rather than a screenshot or a photo forwarded through a messaging app.

Favorite choices: the first family photo, a close-up of tiny hands or feet, the baby asleep on a parent's chest, or the announcement photo with the name and birth stats.

Birth announcement portraits

Use the lettering fields for the baby's full name on the first line and the birth details on the second, such as "Born March 3, 2026 · 7 lb 4 oz · 20 in". You choose the fonts, sizes, and color, and you see the finished layout in a full preview before anything is printed. A 12 × 12 in square ($62) is the most popular size for a nursery shelf; a 16 × 20 in portrait suits the wall above a crib or changing table.

Nursery safety

Acrylic is shatter-resistant, unlike glass in a traditional frame, which makes it a sensible choice for a nursery or a child's room. The optional standoff hardware mounts the print firmly to the wall with four screws. The no-hardware option is lighter and works with heavy-duty adhesive strips; keep any wall art out of reach above a crib, as you would with a frame.
